My name is Braden Ross and I’m from a suburb of Minneapolis called Eden Prairie. I have two dogs named Lola and Lolita that I am very sad to leave. I love music and I actually play in a cover band at home. I couldn’t be more excited to start my journey at UW Madison, and I think this trip is a great way to do it.
I was in Ireland last summer and I loved it. I find Irish history and culture very interesting so I can’t wait to learn about it. Also, I’ll be able to meet 15 other incoming freshmen with similar interests and have a chance to bond with them before even moving in. I can’t wait to be immersed in Dublin and to really get to know the city. It’s great that I get to begin my college journey with such an interesting class with so few people. It’s a much better alternative to a huge lecture hall. I’m also excited to get to know a professor in a small group setting. I know I’ll build relationships that will last forever. I’m hoping to learn a lot and have a great time on this experience!
